About Timbuktu Liquor, Deli & Carryout

History

Timbuktu FacilityWhen Timbuktu was founded in 1948, it was the only service area for miles around. Just like the legendary city, Timbuktu was an oasis for travelers on route 100.

As the town of Hanover has grown up around it, Timbuktu has become a central part of the community. We love giving back to the community as well and are involved in charities focused on helping education and family services in the area.

Family owned and operated, we pride ourselves on really knowing our customers. We’re here for you whether you are looking to celebrate or just need a shoulder to lean on, and we look forward to seeing our regular customers every day.

Whether you’ve grown up with us or are just moving in to one of the many new developments nearby, we’re happy to give you a place to call home.

Community Focused

We’re a family-owned store that cares about giving back. We’re invested in making sure our community is taken care of and have worked with multiple charities and education services to support children and families throughout Hanover and the rest of Howard County.
